Yesterday I posed to you what is the question that we must answer if we are to defeat the rising tide of Islamofascism: Do we have the will?

If you missed that email, I suggest that you go back to it and read it before reading on today. For what I'm about to present to you may be the most important message I have ever emailed to you our members.

If I were to ask you, "Do you want to live under sharia Islamic law, or do you want your children or grandchildren, or friends and neighbors, to live under sharia Islamic law?", you would probably think, "that's a silly question...of course not!"

Were I to ask you, "Do you want to see terrorists detonate weapons of mass destruction in America, killing tens of thousands of people, destabilizing our government and plunging our economy into a deep recession?", again, you'd probably shake your head and assert, "of course not!"

But those are not the questions we need to answer. The question is: Do we have the will to do what is necessary to stop Islamofascism, in whatever form it takes?

Because, simply put, if we do, we will. If we don't, we won't. That's it. Bottom line.

In the next 120 days, we in ACT! for America are poised to take the greatest strides either this organization or our sister organization, American Congress for Truth, have ever taken.

We are preparing to launch a series of projects that, combined together, will put us on the offensive against the infiltration of militant Islam in America in a way that no other organization has ventured to try.

I'm going to describe each of the projects, how they fit together into the overall plan, and tell you how much each project will cost. It is time for boldness, so I am boldly asking you today: Do you have the will to help us make this offensive against militant Islam a reality? I'm not asking you to charge off to the "front lines" of the war on Islamic terrorism.

I'm asking you to make a choice, take action, make a contribution, and help us do what needs to be done. We are prepared to launch this offensive - but we can't do it without your financial help.

The response we receive from you and our other members will determine to what extent we as an organization are ready to take such a bold step forward.

Legislative Action

• We are going to convene a conference call "summit" of some of the best and brightest experts on the subject of militant Islam. The purpose will be to develop a list of the most effective, most powerful legislative proposals that, if enacted by Congress, would dramatically turn the tide in this conflict.

• We will then commission a nationwide public opinion poll to assess voter opinion regarding these proposals, as well as other issues relating to the advance of militant Islam. Cost: $40,000

• Once the poll is completed, we will prepare a legislative agenda that we will take to our allies in the Congress. They have asked us to submit proposals for legislative action. By combining the results of the "summit" of experts and the results of a scientific survey of voters, we will be able to put together a compelling package of proposals that our leadership and I will take to Capitol Hill and present to these congressional allies. Travel expenses and related costs: $5,000

Grassroots Action

• We have identified a powerful way to disrupt the communication, training and recruitment of terrorists. We want to announce this on a nationwide telephone town hall by March 15th, with a goal of at least 2,500 of you participating. Cost for the telephone townhall: $3,000

• For this project to be successful will require our ability to educate and mobilize one million Americans. To do that we will have to contact as many as five million people. In the past, to reach and mobilize this many people would have required massive direct mail and telephone canvassing - at a cost of millions of dollars. But we can reach these Americans through a database of email addresses that will cost us a miniscule fraction compared to what mail and telephone canvassing costs. Cost of this nationwide education and mobilization program: $100,000

• In order to build our membership, so that we will have a stronger citizen action network to more effectively lobby Congress for our legislative agenda and achieve victory in the project described above, we have just printed 40,000 full-color glossy informational brochures to ship to our chapter leaders for them to distribute. The cost to print these brochures was $6,500. These brochures will help our chapter leaders expand our reach in their local communities, increase our membership, and build their chapters. They will also help us recruit new chapter leaders. By April 15th, we would like to print 150,000 more of these brochures. Cost: $17,500

Congressional Voting Record Research

• We are poised to commission an extensive research study of the voting records of Members of the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate on issues relating to national security, terrorism, and the advance of Islamofascism. Our goal is to have the research completed and results posted on our website by June, available for every voter in America to see. Voters will then know which of their elected representatives are voting in the best interests of America's national security - and which ones aren't. Cost: $30,000

The total cost for these programs is $195,500. I know that sounds like a lot of money - and it is. But if you think about it, it's a small price to pay for us to start rolling back the tide of Islamofascism. Our Executive Director, Guy Rodgers, and I are doing fundraising around the country to help bring in the money we need to move boldly forward. But we need your help to reach the goal.

If each of you reading this email will click here to do something...if you will make a choice to take action...if you will make whatever financial contribution you can afford...we'll have the resources to begin this campaign offensive in earnest.

...that will total $135,000. And, of course, if some of you can give more than $200, and more than 1,000 of you were to give $25, that would help us reach our goal even faster! Your generosity combined with the fundraising efforts Guy and I are engaged in will enable us to reach this goal quickly and fully fund this campaign for the next 120 days.

Dear members, friends and supporters, for too long those in America who are concerned about these issues have been fighting a defensive fight. We must start doing more than exposing or resisting the advances of Islamofascism - we must go on the offensive to roll it back and fight for the bedrock values that made America the beacon of hope to the world.

From the day our Executive Director Guy Rodgers joined this team, we have been preparing for this offensive behind the scenes, giving you glimpses along the way. Now it's time to boldly move forward.

As many of you know, I have a unique perspective on the threat we face. I lived for seven years in a bomb shelter in my home in Lebanon, a victim of Islamic terror. Most of my friends were killed by Islamic militants. I watched helplessly as we lost our beautiful country to radical Islam - I am determined that nothing even approaching that tragedy happens to my adopted country.

Can I count on you to join us, to contribute whatever you can afford, to invest in an effort that will be the first major step in really rolling back the tide of Islamofascism, to invest in a better future for yourself, your loved ones, and your friends?
